Victoria Shanghai Academy (VSA), Hong Kong is now recruiting an enthusiastic and committed teacher for the above position for the period from mid of August to early November 2023.

Descriptions

  • Ideally a postgraduate qualification in working with students with special needs and gifted and talented students
  • A recognized teaching qualification
  • A commitment to the philosophy of inclusion
  • Experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with specialist subject teachers to improve the learning outcomes of these students
  • Ability to track the progress of individual students, set improvement targets, maintain up-to-date records and design appropriate interventions to help these students in reducing the achievement gap
  • Ability to work in collaboration with parents and caregivers
  • Familiarity with and ideally experience teaching IB MYP
