Native-speaking English Teacher (Under EDB NET Scheme)
We are now inviting high-caliber professionals to apply for the above position.
Descriptions
Applicants should adhere to the requirements set by the EDB, including :
- (a) a relevant Bachelor's degree majoring in the study of English from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; or
(b) a Bachelor's degree in any subjects, and a higher degree majoring in the study of English or related subject from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; and - a Post-graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) majoring in English Language, or equivalent;
- a Teaching English as a Foreign / Second Language (TEFL / TESL) qualification at least at certificate level, or equivalent;
- registration in EDB's NET Scheme;
- at least one year of full-time teaching experience (preferably as a second or foreign language) at secondary level or above.
In view of the implementation of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) scheme, applicants will be required to undergo SCRC before confirmation of their appointment.
