Social Work Assistant (Jockey Club Multicultural Carer Support Network)

Descriptions
Responsibilities :
- To engage, recruit and provide direct services to ethnic minority elderly carers including casework, groups and programmes.
- To develop promotional strategies for introducing the project to larger clients and stakeholders.
- To provide need assessment, guidance and referral services to service users.
- To handle drop-in services and general enquiries.
- To build up social networks with service users and volunteers.
Requirements :
- Holder of Associate Degree/ Higher Diploma or above in Social Work.
- Recognized by Hong Kong's Social Workers Registration Board for registration Registered Social Worker.
- Fluent in spoken English and Cantonese as well as precise and concise in English and Chinese writing.
- Computer literate with knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Passionate in serving ethnic minority community.
- Caring and patient with good communication skills.
- Mature and able to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in multi-districts.
- Employee should have not been convicted of any sexual offences, in Hong Kong or elsewhere, as specified in the Sexual Conviction Record Check Scheme.
