The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in the administration of research support programmes; (b) providing support to committees and working groups; (c) undertaking liaison with the University's offices and external bodies on research administration matters; and (d) performing ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree; (ii) at least 2 years' relevant post-qualification work experience, preferably in research administration at tertiary institutions or public organisations; (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) a high level of computer literacy; (v) excellent interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills; (vi) the ability to work both independently and collaboratively befitting the circumstances; and (vii) a detail-oriented and dedicated work attitude.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
