    The specialism in the Master of Applied Psychology programme targets in-service teachers, teaching support personnel, social workers, and related health-care professionals who aspire to support individuals with diverse learning needs. It aims to develop expertise in providing evidence-based support to individuals with diverse learning needs in school and community settings.

    Upon successful graduation with good academic performance, students who hold Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS) membership may consider applying for registration after obtaining at least one year of post-qualification experience in a psychology discipline deemed acceptable to the Council. The final decision remains at the discretion of the HKPS Council.

    Some alumni of the programme have successfully embarked on further studies in professional training schemes and pursued doctoral and other advanced research degrees at leading universities locally and overseas.
