The BSc Computer Science programme, accredited by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), is one of Hong Kong's leading computer science programmes. Besides acquiring a broad knowledge of computer science, students may elect to specialise in various technology streams such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, multimedia, software engineering, project management, and data science. The programme's one-year Information Technology Professional Placement provides students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and gain valuable real-world experience.

Students are eligible to enrol in the CityUHK-Columbia University Joint Bachelor's Degree Programme or CityUHK-Universite Paris-Saclay Joint Bachelor's Degree Programme.
Starting in 2026/27, JUPAS applicants can directly apply for Year 1 entry to the prestigious Joint Bachelor’s Degree Programme offered by CityUHK and Columbia University. Graduates will earn degrees from both institutions. A separate application to Columbia University is required after submitting the JUPAS application.
