With its first cohort admitted in the 2025–26 academic year, AI, Computing and Transformation (ACT), one of the University's flagship programmes, is a specialised programme for ambitious students who aspire to excel in data science, computer science, and artificial intelligence. Students will gain valuable international exposure and practical experience through overseas exchanges and internships, preparing them to emerge as eminent professionals in their chosen fields.

Students admitted to the ACT programme will have the free choice to select their preferred major upon accepting the offer: BSc Computer Science (ACT stream), BSc Cybersecurity (ACT stream), BSc Data Science (ACT stream) and BSc Data and Systems Engineering (ACT stream).

Students admitted to the ACT programme shall be considered for the Flagship Scholarships upon meeting the specified criteria:
- Full Scholarship: 100% tuition and hall fee
- Half Scholarship: 50% tuition and hall fee
- Guaranteed berth in the Halls of Residence
- A one-off special sponsorship of a maximum amount of HK$500,000 for an overseas exchange of up to one year at a top-ranked university.
