The programme is designed to address the challenges of the educational transformation driven by the fourth industrial revolution and to meet the societal needs for qualified professionals in AI and educational technology to support the future development of schools, tertiary education, government and corporate sectors.

The programme aims to:
(1) provide students with fundamental knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence and educational technology;
(2) develop students’ ability in applying knowledge of artificial intelligence and educational technology appropriate to teaching and learning;
(3) build up students’ skills in using appropriate methods of artificial intelligence and educational technology to approach and solve real-world problems in educational contexts; and
(4) equip students with the capacity to conduct and evaluate educational projects supported by ethical use of artificial intelligence and educational technology.
