The Hong Kong Arthritis & Rheumatism Foundation (HKARF) is a non-governmental organisation established in 2001. Our mission focuses on educating the public about the significance of understanding arthritis and rheumatic diseases, while enhancing the quality of life for patients and their families. We empower patients by providing both psychological and financial support, as well as backing relevant research initiatives. We offer educational and rehabilitation services. We are currently seeking dedicated staff for our patient support project.
Descriptions
Key Responsibilities :
To assist the Executive Officer;
To plan, organise and implement patient support activities;
To coordinate different funding applications for patients;
To assist in the daily operation and administration of the service center;
To support education talks, fund-raising events, and other activities;
To coordinate phone and in-person inquiries;
To liaise closely with volunteers, patient self help groups and external bodies to ensure a smooth service delivery;
To prepare meeting materials and to perform administration work; and
To work outside office hours is required.
Requirements :
The Programme Officer II position requires a candidate to hold a university degree;
At least 2 years' post-qualification work experience, preferably in non-government organization or public organizations;
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and multi-tasking;
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, good in communication and patient services oriented; and
high level of computer literacy (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ZOOM).
