Programme Manager (Health) (equivalent to ASWO I)



Job Description :
Tasks and Responsibilities -

  • Develop, oversee, plan, coordinate and implement the health programme of ImpactHK to achieve the goal of whole-person health (physical, psychological, social and mental), which includes but not limited to: addiction and mental health retreat services, counseling service, medical service, sports, leisures and developmental classes, and elderly service
  • Ensure programme design and implementation to facilitate sustainable life transformation of the service users experiencing homelessness
  • Identify service gaps and community resources to inform effective and efficient design of the programmes
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, nurse, sport professional, programme worker and warden
  • Network and liaise with other service providers
  • On-going monitor the implementation of the programmes, keep track of outputs and evaluate the outcomes and impacts of programmes
  • Write proposals and reports, keep records, statistics and files updated, communicate and report to grant funders
  • Develop tools to evaluate services to ensure users' feedback are channeled
  • Support organizational mass events
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned by supervisor

Requirements :
  • Bachelor's Degree in social work
  • Preferably five years' work experience in NGOs and programme management
  • Excellent English and Cantonese communication skills (oral and written)
  • Solid knowledge and experience in addiction and mental health rehabilitation
  • Compassionate and empathetic to the situation of the homeless and the underprivileged in Hong Kong
  • Strong leadership with kindness and care to team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as a proactive team player
  • Proactive, creative and innovative approach to problem solving and communication
  • Familiar with mainstream services and community resources in the retreat and developmental health domain
  • Open-minded to work with multidisciplinary teams from diverse background
  • Exceptional insights in identifying social resources and strengths of clients
  • Competent MS Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint. Experience using Salesforce an advantage
