The postholder will assist the Campus Manager (Building Services) to act as a compliance checker for Building Services Systems; to organize, implement and control alteration, operation and maintenance works; to coordinate with statutory authorities, contractors, and user departments for day to day building services works; to prepare tender drawings and documents; to scrutinize contractors' submissions and maintenance proposals; to take up shift duty and attend emergency duty; to supervise technicians and to arrange technician duty roster, etc.
Applicants should have :
- (i) A Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering; and
(ii) With experience of 3 years (for Higher Diploma holder) or 5 years (for Higher Certificate holder) in improvement, operation and maintenance, etc. in various Building Services Installations and hold a valid Certificate of Registered Electrical Worker Class A0;
- Multi-skills in Building Services / HVAC / Mechanical / Electrical would be a definite advantage;
- Relevant skills and experience on AutoCAD drawing, computer based Building Automation System and control system would be preferred; and
- Good written and spoken communications in Chinese, and preferably English.
Terms of Appointment :
Appointment will be made on a two-year contract, with possibility of renewal, subject to mutual agreement. A gratuity payment equal up to 10% of basic salary earned during the contract period will be payable upon satisfactory completion of contract. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental benefits. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
