Chinese Language Learning Assistant (Learning Support)
Applications are invited for the above full-time position.
Descriptions
Duties and Responsibilities :
i) Facilitating learning and skills training of Chinese Language in small groups or with individuals; ii) Working with individual students in Chinese learning activities requested by teachers; iii) Assisting students with special needs within and out of classroom and during extra-curricular activities; iv) Supporting behavior management in class; v) Observing and recording students' learning behavior as requested by teachers; vi) Preparing, producing and modifying Chinese learning materials; vii) Inputting of data, and keeping and updating students' learning records.
Qualifications and Experience :
i) Bachelor's degree holder or related disciplines required (SEN training preferred); ii) Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; iii) Minimum of 1 years' working experience in a school setting (Applicants with SEN training but no experience will also be considered.); iv) Commitment to best educational practices and on-going professional improvement.
