Native English teacher for the 2nd Term of 2024/25 academic year (from 6th February 2025)
Founded in 1897, Tsung Tsin Primary School and Kindergarten is a Christian non-profit private school with about 50 classes. Adhering to the Tsung Tsin Church's school-running philosophy of "Promoting Learning and Preaching", the School provides high-quality Christian education to cultivate students' whole person development. The professional teaching team consists of a significant number of native English teachers and native Putonghua teachers, providing a bilingual immersive learning environment. Our new eight-storey academic building offers diverse learning environments that foster creativity and innovation, enhancing students' potential and multiple intelligences through integrated STEAM elements.
Descriptions
Applicants must demonstrate a passion for teaching, a genuine affection for children, and exhibit responsibility, maturity, proactivity, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Applicants should also support the school's educational philosophy.
Requirements:
- a native-speaker of English;
- a degree holder, a TEFL/TESOL holder and preferably holds a PGDE/PGCE;
- have at least 2 years of primary school teaching experience;
- be familiar with the Hong Kong Education system;
- be familiar with STEAM education preferred;
- a Hong Kong Permanent Resident or Dependent Visa holder preferred.
Salary Scale and Benefits:
- the salary is linked to the government's Master Pay Scale. Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience;
- medical subsidies will be provided;
- tuition subsidies will be offered to staff whose children enrol in our school.
