Suicide Prevention Services is a registered charity providing sustainable, volunteer-based suicide prevention services in the community. It includes a 24-hour Suicide Prevention Hotline, Suicide Prevention Service for the Elderly, Services for Family with Elderly, Services for Survivors of Sudden Death and Suicide Loss, Community Education & Life Education for Youths.

Descriptions

Main Duties :

  • Provide case support for the bereaved by suicide and sudden death;
  • Run bereavement groups for the bereaved by suicide and sudden death;
  • Coordinate volunteer service;
  • Organise therapeutic and community educational programs.

Requirements :
  • With recognised degree in Social Work or Counselling;
  • Concrete experience in Bereavement / Family / Mental health services is preferred;
  • An energetic and mature team player with strong interpersonal skills & outgoing personality;
  • Independent and multi-tasking skills;
  • Good PC knowledge, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
