The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Library invites applications for a Project Co-ordinator II.

Reporting to the Head of Library Administration, the appointee will be assigned to the Library Administration Department of CUHK Library to assist mainly in accounting work and liaising with the Finance Office. Duties include (a) reviewing and preparing internal accounting workflows and guidelines; (b) conducting accounting-related briefings and training sessions; (c) participating in account system development; (d) monitoring and checking daily accounting transactions across various financial systems; (e) administering fixed assets and co-ordinating stock takes; (f) liaising with internal and external parties to facilitate daily operations; (g) arranging insurance and donation processes; (h) preparing data analysis, memos, reports, data input and filing; and (i) other projects and duties as assigned.

Applicants should have / be (i) a Bachelor's degree; (ii) well-presented with an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (iii) excellent organisational and problem-solving skills; (iv) a strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality, integrity and judgment; (v) strong accounting and administrative sense, meticulous and self-motivation; (vi) the ability to work and explore independently, and perform diverse duties under pressure with tight timelines; and (vii) proficiency in computer applications (including MS Office and word-processing skills). Working experience related to accounting and book-keeping will be advantageous.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
