The appointee will be affiliating with the Learning and Cultural Enhancement Section, and be responsible for (a) providing guidance and advice to students for learning enhancement; (b) organising adjustment and developmental programmes for students; (c) providing special support services to both local and non-local students; (d) collecting and analysing relevant data on student needs and performance; and (e) contributing to other projects organised by the Office of Student Affairs.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website : https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo ; (iii) at least 3 years' relevant post-qualification executive experience, preferably in student advising, student services, social services, youth work, or related fields; (iv) an excellent command of English and Chinese, including Putonghua; (v) an outgoing personality and creativity; (vi) excellent task management, interpersonal and communication skills; (vii) strong self-motivation with can-do spirits; and (viii) the ability to work both in the team and independently.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
