Executive Officer II (Chung Chi College)

Chung Chi College, one of the founding colleges of The Chinese University of Hong Kong which has about 3500 undergraduate students, is recruiting an Executive Officer who will support the implementation and execution of programmes on enhancing the all-rounded development of students; and assist in planning and execution of College events, and venues management.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing secretarial and administrative support to Committees and meetings; (b) planning, organizing and coaching student bodies on organizing College events/student activities; (c) co-ordination and supervision of service providers for the services delivered; (d) identification of needs for new programmes or services required by students; (e) management of College venues and facilities; (f) supervision of supporting staff; and (g) other tasks as assigned. Shift duties and irregular working hours, including weekends, evenings or holidays, and outdoor works may be required.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: ; (iii) a minimum of 5 years of executive experience in related fields, preferably in higher education or large operations; (iv) effective team co-ordination and supervisory skills; (v) a positive work attitude and strong organizational skills; (vi) excellent time management and problem-solving skills; (vii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and (viii) a mature and self-motivated work attitude.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as early as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
