Li Ka Shing Institute of Health Sciences

Applicants should have (i) a Higher Diploma or a Higher Certificate, preferably a Bachelor's degree, in Biological Sciences; (ii) the ability to work independently; (iii) a self-motivated, well-organised, co-operative and responsible work attitude; (iv) the willingness to learn; and (v) good communication skills. Practical experience in laboratory setting is preferred.

The appointee(s) will work under the Director of the Institute and his management team. Duties include (a) assisting in the daily operations of the Core Laboratories and communal facilities of the Institute which will house about 30 research groups with over 400 members when in full-fledged operation; (b) assisting in the maintenance of the facility and its equipment; (c) housekeeping; (d) undertaking booking arrangement; and (e) performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor as appropriate.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
