Explore and manage resources for service implementation and development, based on community needs and welfare policy
Attend external meetings in representing Agency to promote Agency's image and services, and form partnership and network
Ensure services and operation of hostel complying funding agreements and internal policies
Establish contingency plans of emergency of the Division / service units to ensure smooth operation
Formulate annual budget of the hostel
Evaluate and review services and projects in the hostel, and recommend service enhancement plan
Lead and motivate staff to provide services to achieve hostel's and Agency's objectives
Strengthen the positive and cooperative working culture for collaboration with multi-disciplinary / divisions
Reinforce staff's understanding on internal policies, VMV
Train and develop staff for the sake of Agency's development and enhance service quality
Participate joint meetings and service projects with district units under Methodist Church
Participate projects / tasks assigned by the Agency
Requirements :
Registered Social Worker (Cap. 505) with Bachelor Degree in Social Work or above
At least 5 years' working experience in Assistant Social Work Officer position, with solid supervisory and hostel experience are preferred
Excellent in spoken and written English and Chinese
Strong sense of social consciousness, good leadership and management skills, good interpersonal skills and flexible
Proactive, positive, independent, logical and responsible
Priority given to experience in crisis management
Keen on learning and courage to face challenges
This employment is under contract term.
