Yuen Long Long Ping Estate Tung Koon Primary School
Native-speaking English Teacher (under EDB NET Scheme)
An aided Primary School in Yuen Long invites applicants for the above post with effect from mid-August 2023.
Descriptions
Requirements :
- Native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker of English competence;
- Recognized Bachelor's degree from a Hong Kong university or equivalent, majoring in English Language is preferred;
- Recognized teacher training qualification in primary education;
- TEFL / TESL qualification at least at certificate level, or an equivalent course of study recognized by EDB;
- Teaching experience (preferably PLP-R/W programme teaching experience) in local primary school(s) is preferred; and
- Applicants must comply with the requirements under the Primary NET Scheme of the EDB.
The applicant should :
- be responsible for PLP-R/W English Teaching Programme for junior level;
- be able to develop school-based curriculum and material with local English teachers; and
- be able to organize English-related activities and promote a rich English-speaking environment at school.
