Monitor the daily accounts operation, review and approve daily accounting vouchers and payments
Analyze and ensure monthly and yearly financial statements, management and project reports are in compliance of statutory requirements including Social Welfare Department and accounting standards
Build partnership with Assistant Directors to provide professional analysis and advice to resolve operational issues
Prepare financial analysis, budgeting, forecast and liaise with external auditors, government, and funders
Monitor and review projects progress and audit of various funds, submit timely project audited reports, returns to government and funders
Assist in risk management and internal control enhancement, identify measures to enhance efficiency, explore resources for the Agency
Assist in accounting / organization system development, revamp, and maintenance
Train and supervise staff to enhance the performance and efficiency of operations
Handle and assist with any ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements :
University degree or above in Accounting with a recognized professional accounting qualification
At least 6 years of solid experience in the accounting / audit field experience is preferable
Possess system development experience is preferable
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially in Excel and Word, and Chinese word processing
Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese
Strong problem - solving, analytical, and leadership skills
Self
motivated, detail - oriented, responsible, and teamwork
Good interpersonal and communication skills
This employment is under contract term.
