Jockey Club Experiential Learning Project for Students with Special Educational Needs

Responsibilities :

• To share responsibilities with the Project Leader in the overall planning, operation, development and evaluation of the Project.
  
• Assist Project Leader in setting up adventure-based / virtual-reality based facilities and developing training packages.
  
• Develop and render services / training programmes to service users.
  
• Be responsible for coordinating and networking with potential service users and partnership with stakeholders.

• Registered Social Worker.
  
• Holder of Bachelor Degree or above in Social Work recognized by Hong Kong's Social Worker Registration Board for registration.
  
• At least 3 years social work experience in children & youth service / rehabilitation services.
  
• Relevant experiences in leading adventure-based / virtual reality-based / career and life development activities is preferred.
  
• Relevant experience in staff supervision and implementing project is preferred.
  
• Computer literate with knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  
• Proficient in English and Cantonese.
  
• Good communication skills.
  
• Self-motivated, mature, able to work under pressure.
  
• Enthusiastic in serving people with intellectual disabilities.
  
• Good at building connection and collaborating with various stakeholders.
  
• Holder of Low Event Certificate / High Event Certificate / Rope Course Certificate / Mountain Craft Certificate / Sport Climbing Certificate would be an advantage.
  
• Knowledge about Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality / Substitutional Reality / Mixed Reality and Unity 360 would be an advantage.
  
• Employee should have not been convicted of any sexual offences, in Hong Kong or elsewhere, as specified in the Sexual Conviction Record Check Scheme.
