Key Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive guidance to students through all stages of the university preparation and application process, including guidance on areas such as majors exploration, application essay writing, and interview preparation
  
• Deliver the school's Pathways university counseling program through both 1-on-1 and class sessions for IBDP and pre-IB students in Secondary 4 to 6
  
• Supporting Life Planning Committee teachers to provide guidance to HKDSE students on their JUPAS and/or overseas university applications
  
• Organize cohort-wide and/or school-wide workshops or events to students and parents to provide information on applications to tertiary institutions
  
• Foster and build strong relationships with tertiary institutions by inviting and hosting visits from representatives
  
• Write recommendation letters to support student applications, and provide guidance and support to faculty members in writing references
  
• Prepare and ensure transcripts and other application documents are delivered to relevant tertiary institutions in a timely manner

• A related degree, preferably a bachelor's degree in counseling, education or another related field
  
• Previous experience in university guidance counseling either in a school setting and/or recognized admissions consulting institutions
  
• Possess a strong understanding of the university admissions process for multiple countries, especially in Hong Kong, United Kingdom, United States, and Canada
  
• Familiarity with both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) and the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE)
  
• Highly fluent communicator in both oral and written English
  
• Strong passion and commitment to working with a diverse community of students and fellow educators
