Member Relations Officer

Tuen Mun District Health Centre

Evangelical Lutheran Church Social Service – Hong Kong (ELCSS-HK), one of the largest NGOs in Hong Kong, was established in 1976. With an innovative, caring and people-oriented approach, we provide integrated services to the grassroots and the disadvantaged.

ELCSS-HK was awarded to operate Tuen Mun District Health Centre (TMDHC), a 3-year pilot programme commissioned by the Food and Health Bureau and is currently seeking high caliber candidates to join our team to work for promoting primary health care for the community and developing healthy life style of Tuen Mun residents.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Being the Centre's first point of contact with members and the public
  • In-charge of reception service and members' registration process
  • Help to build and nurture long-term relationship with members
  • Supervise volunteers in greeting members and performing guided tours
  • Collate services statistics and compile related reports
  • Handle members' personal data rigorously during data input and filing
  • Address members' concerns and escalate to appropriate officers for handling
  • Answer services users' and network services providers' enquiries and divert to appropriate persons or service providers
  • Shift duty in irregular hours, including Sundays, Public Holidays and in the evening
  • Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements :
  • University graduate with at least 2 years relevant experience, or associate degree/high diploma holder with at least 5 years relevant experience
  • Able to work independently, organizational ability and excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  • Good command of spoken, written English and Chinese
  • Customer-oriented attitude, professional telephone manner, problem-solving aptitude
  • Preferably with relevant experience in social welfare, medical and / or sizable organizations
  • Preferably with background and exposure in customer service
  • A team player with passion to serve the community and enthusiasm to work in a dynamic environment
