The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) is the city's largest youth service organization. Since its establishment in 1960, the HKFYG has been providing opportunities and facilities for the social, educational, cultural, emotional and physical development of young people. Clinical Psychologists at HKFYG Wellness PLUS would be responsible for the following areas : (1) school clinical psychological services, (2) organizational capacity building and (3) community mental wellness.

Key Responsibilities :
School Clinical Psychological Services a. To render direct psychological service including assessment, individual and group treatments for children and youth in the schools served by the Federation b. To provide consultation and advice for the management of students to social workers and school staff
Organizational Capacity Building a. To provide consultation and hold case conferences to support the organization's counselling and school social work services b. To provide professional advice to organization's service strategies on mental health
Community Mental Wellness a. To design and deliver youth-centric preventive, psycho-educational and/or treatment programs to promote mental wellness both in schools and community b. To advise on the design and implementation of community health-related projects c. To undertake any other relevant professional duties as assigned
Requirements :
A recognized Master's Degree or above in Clinical Psychology
Fresh graduates are also welcome
Eligibility for membership of The Hong Kong Institute of Clinical Psychologists
Passionate, self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese / Cantonese
Experience in working with children and youths will be an advantage
Candidates may be required to undergo Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) if job duties involve frequent contact with children. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified to attend a written test.
