Officially founded in 1977, The Chinese University of Hong Kong Press (CUHK Press) is a world-class English-Chinese bilingual publisher. With a reputation as a publishing powerhouse in China studies, it publishes about 60 new books per year and carries over 2,300 titles on its backlist.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) building and maintaining working relationships with stakeholders in the industry (distributors, booksellers, etc.); (b) organising book exhibitions; (c) implementing marketing projects; and (d) sales and data analysis and reporting.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree; (ii) at least 3 years' work experience in the marketing or publishing industry; (iii) a proven track record in executing marketing campaigns on publishing- or cultural-related issues; (iv) an energetic, self-motivated and customer-oriented work attitude; (v) strong organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills; (vi) good written and spoken English and Chinese; and (vii) knowledge of web promotion development and social media promotion.

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
