Applications are invited for a temporary post of replacement teacher at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry with proficiency in both Chinese and English. Preference will be given to applicants with strong background in organic chemistry. The appointee is expected to (a) teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in organic chemistry (including Introduction to Organic Chemistry and Asymmetric synthesis); (b) supervise undergraduate laboratories; and (c) take up administrative duties as deemed necessary.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for 12 months commencing September 1, 2022.
