Applicants should have (i) a doctoral degree; (ii) substantial postdoctoral experience in the following research area(s) : animal models of various age-related musculoskeletal conditions including but not limited to sarcopenia, osteoporosis and fracture; application of pre-clinical microCT in animal model and clinical applications; (iii) strong research accomplishments in grants and high quality peer-reviewed publications; (iv) the potential to become an independent researcher in obtaining research funding and establishing significant externally-funded research programmes; (v) a strong sense of responsibility and team spirit; and (vi) a good command of both Chinese and English.

The appointee will (a) conduct research and secure research funding; (b) undertake teaching at undergraduate and / or postgraduate levels; and (c) undertake administrative duties in the Department, Faculty and University as assigned.

Appointment will normally be made on a contract basis for up to three years initially, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
