The appointee will be responsible for (a) planning, managing and co-ordinating the branding and engagement events and activities related to the 60th Anniversary of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and other University's major events; (b) formulating and executing the related marketing and branding campaigns and strategies so as to increase social and digital presence on various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, WeChat, Weibo, LinkedIn, etc.; (c) co-ordinating with local community and non-local partners and stakeholders on branding and engagement events; (d) managing online and offline publicity and advertisements; (e) handling on-site social video production and photography independently; (f) monitoring performance of social media campaign and digital marketing projects and drive for higher efficiency and effectiveness; (g) liaising with various internal and external parties; and (h) performing other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have / be (i) a good Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related disciplines; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website : ; (iii) at least 8 years' post-qualification, preferably in marketing, advertising and branding experience, must be well-versed in social content creation, copy-writing, editorial and video / photo creation and production; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) creativity, self-motivation and a positive work attitude; (vi) excellent organisational, presentation and interpersonal skills; and (vii) detail-minded and able to work under tight deadlines. Agency background with in-depth knowledge of major social media platforms management with proven significant achievement will be advantageous. Those with less but at least 6 years' post-qualification marketing / corporate communications experience at large corporations may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II. Applicants should provide 3 samples of previous work on branding / digital marketing / social media campaign, multimedia production, or video production in the online application. Shortlisted candidates will be required to sit for a written test in both Chinese and English.

Appointment will be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity.
