Team Leader (Social Worker I)

We provide a spectrum of social welfare services catering to the needs of families, children and youth, the elderly and the disabled as well as Chinese traditional services for the community gearing towards "Quality Care, Holistic Development".



Requirements :

  1. Attained English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language at Grade E or above in the H.K.C.E.E.;
  2. a recognized degree in Social Work or equivalent;
  3. registered under the Social Workers Registration Ordinance (Cap. 505) as Registered Social Worker; and
  4. post-qualification social work experience, preferably in casework and working with ethnic minority communities.
Duties :
  1. Provide front-line services for supporting the victims of abuse or violence;
  2. provide community education in the ethnic minority communities;
  3. liaison with the ethnic minority communities and stakeholders for service development; and
  4. work in shifts.
Compensation & employment terms :
Currently at $33,350 (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 16) per month plus a monthly allowance currently at $3,415. Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience.

The successful candidates will be appointed on contract terms. The salary is subject to downward / upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid leave, medical services, dental scheme and training sponsorship.
