Project Assistant II

The appointee will (a) provide administrative assistance in project planning, co-ordination, implementation and execution for the College General Education; (b) liaise with internal and external partners, prepare materials, handle enquires, and provide logistics and on-site support for the events of the College General Education; and (c) perform other duties as assigned. Irregular working hours, including weekends, evenings or holidays, and outdoor works are required occasionally.

Applicants should have (i) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, "Attained" or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (ii) an Associate Degree or above, preferably in Social Science; (iii) fast and accurate Chinese and English typing skill; (iv) proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Adobe Photoshop; (v) an effective command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (vi) excellent interpersonal skills; and (vii) good organisational skills and strong common sense. Hands-on experience in working with youth and group work will be advantageous.

Applicants must submit copies of HKCEE/HKDSE certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language requirements and academic qualifications stated above, otherwise their applications will NOT be considered.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
