The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care is an internationally-recognized school of public health in the Asia-Pacific region, committed to excellence in education and health research. Further information about the School is available at http://www.sphpc.cuhk.edu.hk . The School invites applications for the post of Clinical Lecturer.
Applicants should have (i) a medical qualification (approved for registration with the Hong Kong Medical Council); (ii) a post-qualification in public health and/or infectious disease training; (iii) a recognized higher professional qualification is advantageous but not essential (e.g. FRACGP, FHKCFP, MRCGP or equivalent); (iv) relevant experience in academic, health services or related sectors; (v) preferably some teaching experience; and (vi) a good command of spoken and written English (proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua will be an advantage but not essential).
The appointee will (a) undertake teaching and student supervision; (b) supervise and coordinate course development for undergraduate / postgraduate programmes; and (c) perform other related tasks as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
