Assistant Unit Manager (Security Unit)
Administering and Delivery of Assistance for Non-refoulement Claimants
(a) Assist the Unit Manager in the day-to-day security operation in the designed service centres. (b) Undertake situation and security risk assessments on an ongoing basis. (c) Monitor staff compliance with security procedures. (d) Assist to supervise and manage security guards and receptionists to ensure the high standard of security image and customer service. (e) Submission of incident reports. (f) Design and implement strategies and approaches for ensuring staff safety and security. (g) Monitor the security situation to home visit arrangement and provide immediate support and coordination to the staff when necessary.
(a) Tertiary educated or above. (b) Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in security industry, in which 2 years' at supervisory level. (c) Holder of valid Security Personnel Permit, certificate of first aid / safety supervisor is an advantage. (d) Background in disciplinary work force is preferred. (e) Good leadership with practical knowledge and good problem-solving skills. (f) Strong analytical mind with good communication and interpersonal skills.
(a) Good command of oral and written English; fluency in at least one minority language and / or ability to communicate in Chinese is a distinct advantage. (b) Computer literate. (c) Experience working in a cross-cultural working environment. (d) Have a valid work visa and flexibility to work in Kowloon and New Territories Regions.
* Post will be on contract basis.
