The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing executive support to new projects; (b) providing assistance in promotion and organisation of programmes ; (c) managing websites and social media platforms; (d) providing support to committees and meetings; and (e) performing other ad hoc tasks as assigned. Occasional irregular working hours, including weekends, evenings or holidays, may be required.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree; (ii) at least 3 years' relevant experience, preferably in the tertiary education field or non-profit organisations; (iii) a strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluency in Putonghua); (iv) a basic understanding of the discrimination ordinances; (v) strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; (vi) a good knowledge and understanding of social media; (vii) the ability to work independently and under pressure; (viii) good IT proficiency (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.); (ix) a creative mindset; and (x) a positive attitude. Relevant experience in content development for social media platforms, and/or photos and videos editing will be advantageous. Applicants must submit (1) a cover letter expressing interest in the position; (2) an up-to-date CV with copies of academic transcripts; and (3) HKCEE / HKDSE certificates, otherwise their applications will NOT be considered. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
