Reporting to the Faculty Dean, Associate Dean (Research), Faculty Impact Coordinator and Faculty Secretary, the appointee will provide administrative support in the Research and Development Office to (a) co-ordinate grant applications; (b) co-ordinate applications for clearance of research ethics; (c) perform administrative duties, including committee services, preparation of reports and maintenance of databases; (d) support the Faculty's research activities and initiatives; (e) support research assessment exercises; and (f) perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements as set out on the website : ; (iii) at least 3 years' post-qualification work experience, preferably at tertiary institutions; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (v) strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with Faculty staff and academics and professionals of the field; (vi) self-motivation with strong organisational, implementation, analytical and problem-solving skills. Work experience in grants administration will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 1- or 2-year contract (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
