The Department invites applications for Part-time Instructor(s) / Lecturer(s) to teach elementary and/or intermediate Japanese language course(s) for the undergraduate programme. Candidates with more teaching experience will be invited to teach intermediate level specialized Japanese language courses like Spoken Japanese and Business Japanese etc.

Applicants should (i) have a Master's degree or above in a relevant discipline (or a doctoral degree for the post of Part-time Lecturer), preferably in the field of Japanese language teaching / linguistics / translation; (ii) have native or near-native fluency in Japanese and Chinese / English; and (iii) have at least 2 years' relevant classroom teaching experience in Japanese language courses.

Appointment(s) will be made on contract basis for one term initially commencing August 2021, renewable subject to performance, funding and mutual agreement.
