The appointee will be responsible for (a) supporting the administration of alumni association network; (b) providing assistance in the planning and organisation of various programmes / activities for alumni and students; (c) producing publicity materials for promoting the alumni community; (d) maintaining an effective alumni database; (e) preparing various proposals, and management reports, papers and documents; (f) liaising with the University's internal units, external organisations and the alumni community; and (g) performing other ad hoc tasks as assigned. Overtime work during non-office hours will be required occasionally.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website : https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo ; (iii) at least 3 years' post-qualification executive experience; (iv) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; (v) proficiency in computer applications; (vi) strong problem-solving and organisational skills; (vii) good communication and interpersonal skills; and (viii) the ability to work independently and as a team member. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
