Deputy Principal / Assistant Principal (Academic Affairs)

Our College, an EMI secondary school operating under the Direct Subsidy Scheme, exists to educate and develop every student to his or her full potential so that they will grow up to become all-rounded persons. We are seeking qualified candidates who share our values and educational ethos to take a high caliber position for the school year beginning September 2020.


Requirements :

  • Being an assistant/deputy principal or having been an SGM for at least 3 years;
  • Possessing strategic prowess and the caliber to promote the vision and mission of the school;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in leading curriculum development and administering teaching and learning work;
  • Excellent leadership and inter-personal skills that can effectively motivate and inspire teammates to work towards the school goal;
  • A dynamic and discerning problem-solver with effective planning, organization and resources management skills.

Responsibilities :
  • Oversee all the academic affairs of the school and lead relevant school development areas;
  • Lead and oversee the performance of all subject panels;
  • Carry out quantitative and qualitative analyses on teaching and learning progress and outcomes with a view to assisting the principal to plan, implement and evaluate school development programmes;
  • Assist the principal to plan and implement professional development programmes for teaching staff;
  • Undertake teaching duties in subject expert area.
