The appointee will assist the Head of Library Administration in (a) marketing communication and general administration of the Department; (b) supervising staff; (c) maintaining the Library's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter; (d) co-ordinating publications, including the newsletters and annual reports; (e) maintaining a client data base; (e) co-ordinating events and training; (f) handling office administration matters, including purchasing and office inventory; and (g) performing other administrative duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree; (ii) at least 4 years' post-qualification work experience; (iii) excellent communication and writing skills in English and Chinese; (iv) excellent organisational and problem-solving skill; (v) passionate with social media; (vi) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; (vii) attentiveness to details, and the ability to work independently and perform diverse duties. Knowledge of MS Office applications, social media applications and desktop publishing is desirable. Work experience in marketing communication will be advantageous.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
