Responsible for engaging stakeholders to work on elderly service and related policy development.
Enabling the Council to work on welfare agenda in response to social needs and advocate for improvement of concerned services and policies.
Promote pioneering and innovative service response with the sector to fill service gaps, and formulate directions for user groups empowerment.
Foster exchanges with international and regional counterparts for development of practice advancement and local agenda.
Enhance multi-disciplinary collaboration in facing ageing population.
Registered Social Worker preferred.
A recognized degree in social work or social science, with 3-years' post qualification experience. Experience in elderly residential service will be an advantage.
Good understanding of policies and services for elderly, particular in residential services.
Passion in striving for a better community for active ageing.
Strong ability in building network with the social service sector and other stakeholders, including government departments and academics.
Strong personal drive, take ownership in work and a good team player.
Good analytic skills, innovative mindset and flexible.
Able to work under pressure, independently and multi-tasking.
Proficiency in verbal and written communication in both English and Chinese.
Competent in MS Office applications.
5-day work per week. 15-day annual leave.
