Provide preventive and corrective maintenance service for biomedical equipment at hospitals or clinics.
Provide calibration service for audiometric equipment.
Provide safety test for biomedical equipment at hospitals and clinics.
Assist the Biomedical Engineers to schedule preventive maintenance and calibration service.
Compile and collate data and manage database information on biomedical equipment.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Biomedical Engineers.
a) University Graduates with relevant working experience; OR b) F.5 / S.5 with : (i) HKCEE 5 passes including English Language (Syl. B) and Chinese Language; or (ii) 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below : - Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language; and - Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects AND Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent AND relevant working experience.
Preferred Attributes / Exposure :
At least two years' working experience in maintenance of medical devices.
Familiar with MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Able to work independently and under pressure.
Good communication skills.
May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
May be required to work irregular hours.
Appointment will be on contract terms for 3 years. 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA.
