Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of 'Project Manager')

The appointee will provide executive support in the Centre for Chinese Music Studies, and will be responsible for (a) providing secretarial and administrative support; (b) handling public relationship matters; (c) organising meetings; (d) co-ordinating different activities, such as exhibitions, press conferences, visits, CD launch, concerts, etc.; (e) providing assistance to manage the daily operation of the Centre; and (f) performing other tasks as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a Master's degree or higher academic degree in Chinese Studies, Chinese music, performance studies, journalism, or a related field; (ii) substantial experience in the Chinese Opera and Chinese music performance, music, production, etc.; (iii) an excellent track record of professional practice in performance, music or production; (iv) high-level interpersonal and communication skills; and (v) at least 2 years of work experience at tertiary institutions or universities.
Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
