The appointee will (a) review, draft and manage contracts relating to a broad range of areas; (b) provide legal and administrative support in relation to general legal matters; (c) work with internal and external stakeholders for case management purposes; and (d) perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor's degree, preferably with degree(s) in Law, Public Administration or Business; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website ; (iii) at least 8 years' post-qualification executive experience, preferably in law firms or in-house legal departments; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) good interpersonal and communication skills; (vi) responsible and proactive; and (vii) high computer literacy in computer applications, including MS Word and Chinese word-processing skill. Experience in handling research, knowledge transfer and licencing agreements will be advantageous. Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.
