Woodland Pre-Schools has been established since 1978. Our nine schools are located in eight convenient locations across Hong Kong and provide Traditional as well as Montessori teaching approaches. Our traditional schools are accredited by the Pre-School Learning Alliance (London), and our Montessori Schools are the only group of pre-schools accredited by the Montessori Evaluation & Accreditation Board (UK) in the Greater China region. Woodland aims to provide the highest quality international Pre-School education - to achieve this, we are looking for people of the very highest calibre to fill the above position.
- Native Mandarin speakers
- Holders of a Postgraduate Diploma in Education; Bachelor of Education Degree or Early Childhood Education Certificates
- Preferably with Qualified Kindergarten Teacher Status
- Experience with young Pre-Schoolers
- A love of children and passion for teaching
- Excellent interpersonal skill, energetic, and able to work independently
The job holder's responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom s/he is responsible, or with whom s/he comes into contact will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the relevant Cognita Safeguarding; Child Protection Policy and Procedures at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the role, the job holder identifies any instance that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, s/he must report any concerns to the School's Child Protection Officer / Designated Safeguarding Lead or to the Head of indeed to the Regional CEO so that a referral can be made accordingly to the relevant third party services.
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
