Department of Imaging and Interventional Radiology

The appointee will be responsible for (a) taking charge of technical aspects of MR imaging examination and carrying out MR examinations in full compliance with the safety and ethical standards; (b) co-ordinating scanning schedules for MRI-based research from different researchers, both inside and outside the Faculty of Medicine of CUHK, or even from outside institutions; (c) providing on-site supervision and technical advice to research assistants and nurses working in MRI; (d) amending and optimising different MR imaging protocols tailored for different research; and (e) keeping radiologists update about new software development provided by the MRI manufacturers.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree in Radiography or equivalent; (ii) Certificate of Registration (Category D) (Part 1) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Hong Kong Radiographer Board; (iii) at least 5 years' experience as a radiographer, including not less than 3 years' experience in conducting MR imaging; and (iv) good knowledge of MR technology.
Appointment will be made on a contract basis for 1 to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract) commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
