Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Training Officer / Project Officer) (2 posts) (Ref : 201801394) (to commence as soon as possible until December 31, 2018, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Allied Health, Counseling or a related discipline; and excellent written and spoken skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese). Experience in undertaking research, training, and/or public education programmes related to End-of-Life Care (EoLC) and/or mental health would be an advantage. The appointees will work for the Jockey Club End-of-Life Community Care Project (JCECC) under the Faculty of Social Sciences. Commencing in October 2015, the project is a three-year initiative aimed at improving the quality of end-of-life care, enhancing the capacity of service providers, as well as raising public awareness on life and death issues. The appointees will be responsible for organizing public talks and seminars on the topic, data collection and analysis, report preparation, and perform other duties as assigned. Those with less qualifications may be considered for the post of Research Assistant I/II.
