New Project for "Out-of-Home" Youth and Person in Mental Recovery funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust - for the Building Project Officer.
Key Responsibilities :
Liaise with internal parties, end-users, consultants and contractors for the re-development, renovation and interior design of the Building, including but not limited to tender specification / drawings / analysis preparation, cost control, contract administration, site work supervision, testing and commissioning, etc;
Coordinate with various parties including consultants, government / local authorities, internal user groups, in-house bodies and prospective users, in relation to project execution, take-over of new building, planning and implementation of addition, alternation and improvement works, as well as prepare the associated defect lists;
Monitor the progress / quality of work performed by AP and contractors;
Liaise with Funder and government authorities on timely submission and seek for approvals;
Prepare budget control and handle contract administration and payment certification; and
Prepare materials and timely reports for submission to the Seniors and Funder.
Post-secondary education in Architecture, Building, Construction, Surveying or related disciplines
Minimum 3 years' project management experience preferably gained in property developers, consultancy companies or government authorities
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
Independent, self-motivated, innovative, well organized, detail-minded and able to perform multi-tasks within tight deadline
A good team player with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and work-related software applications
