Assist Manager (Education) in project management/office management of the Department.
Assist the Head of SERS and Manager (Education) to follow up on SERS GC, IMCs, all sub-committees and ad hoc panel work of both SERS GC and IMCs.
Assist the Manager (Education) to keep updated information of Agency and SERS GC policies, all Government policies and EDB circulars. Advise Head of SERS and Manager (Education) of the implications.
Communicate with Schools for daily matters, answer enquires and monitor timely submissions of reports / documents from the schools.
Assist Head of Special Education and Rehabilitation Service (SERS) and Manager (Education) to prepare SERS GC papers including the detailed agenda and collect reports & documents from Schools.
Act as a recorder of meetings as assigned by Head of SERS and Manager (Education).
A good University degree in relevant discipline.
3-5 years' relevant experience in administration and event management with at least 2 years at supervisory level.
Working experience in education setting preferable.
Relevant experience in administration and event management.
Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing.
Sound interpersonal skill, coordination skill and ability to communicate with people at different levels including senior management.
Well-organized, highly independent and able to work under pressure.
