Procurement Officer (at the rank of Clerk I) (Ref.: 201801187) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a recognized Higher Diploma or above in the relevant field with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language; and at least 6 years' experience in procurement or equivalent. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage. They should also be mature and have the ability to work independently with self-motivation. Those with work experience in tertiary institutions / large organizations and knowledge of the usage of Oracle Financials system are advantageous. The appointee will be responsible for processing purchase orders and tenders; performing compliance check on tendering and ordering processes; sourcing products and services; carrying out contract and vendor management; performing costing and pricing analysis; supervising junior staff and providing other clerical support.
