Department of Diagnostic Radiology
Technical Officer (Ref.: 201801139) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nuclear Medicine or related sciences, with at least 1 year's relevant work experience in organic synthesis. They should also have good organizational and interpersonal skills and analytical minds; be able to work independently and under pressure; and be proactive and responsible. Preference will be given to those with experience in using HPLC, GC and other quality control equipment; and possession of a valid driving license (Class I). Knowledge of GMP standards, clean-room operations, handling of radioactive or bio-hazard materials would definitely be an advantage. The appointee will work primarily for the production and quality control of radiopharmaceutical according to standard operating procedures. Adequate training in radiation safety will be provided before handling of radioactive material.
